Siringet Safaris operates luxury camping safaris – the best and most authentic way to enjoy Kenya.
Camping Itineraries:
Siringet Safaris will take you where you want to go. You write your own itinerary.
We have listed half a dozen possible trips in our Itineraries section. You could follow one of the plans we suggest, or mix and match parts of each trip to make your own itinerary.
If Camping Is Not Your Style:
If you feel that camping is not for you, you can see Kenya spending the nights under the solid roof of one of Kenya’s many comfortable homesteads, ranches and lodges. We list some of these on our National Parks and Reserves page.
Whether you camp or stay at lodges, few amenities are lacking. We often recommend a combination of camps and lodges to give you the complete Kenyan experience.

Siringet Safaris use Toyota Landcruisers that are specifically customised for a hard life in the bush.
They are spacious and will keep you comfortable and feature a large open roof that will give you an unencumbered view of the wildlife.
Each vehicle carries the Roberts and Collins bird books, and the Estes and Collins books on animal life in Kenya.
We also carry other specialised books such as “Acacia Trees” and “African Grasses.”
We have some spare pairs of binoculars, although we find most guests like to bring their own.
We have a set of night vision binoculars in case there is an animal you would like to observe after dark.

We love food at Siringet Safaris, and we think you’ll like our food too.
• Bread
We bake our own fresh bread every day in our kitchen.
• Breakfast
We serve a full English breakfast, to which we add plenty of fresh fruit.
• Lunch
In the heat of the day we usually serve a cold buffet lunch in the shade of the dining tent.
• Dinner
You’ll be hungry after a day in the bush. So we’ll give you a three course dinner rounded off with Kenyan tea or coffee by the campfire. Here’s what you might expect:
For Dinner
Voi Melon and Black Forest Ham
Pork with a Cream White Wine Sauce
Wild Rice and Vegetables
Brandy Snaps
Cream and Strawberries
Coffee or Tea
Vegetarians +
We can cater of any dietary preferences, and have done so on many occasions. Kenya’s Central Highlands are well known for their vegetable gardens, so vegetarians eat well here. If you have any questions about special diets, please send us a note.
Drinks
When you are staying at our camps you can drink South African wine and Kenyan beer with your meals at no extra cost. If you are staying at a lodge the cost of drinks will not be included in the cost of your safari.
Water
Although Adrian has been known to drink water in some very strange places, you will be supplied with bottled drinking water throughout your safari.
