Itinerary 4 Camping and lodging – 10 days Samburu, the Ark, Lake Elmenteita, Masai Mara
Day 1: Set out early from Nairobi for the long drive to the Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba reserves. We camp overnight at Siringet Safaris campsite.
Days 2 & 3: Game viewing in the Samburu, Buffalo Springs, Shaba reserves. Camping at Siringet Safaris camp.
Day 4: Depart early from Samburu and drive south towards Mt Kenya. Stop for lunch at the Aberdare Country Club and overnight at the Ark.
Day 5: After breakfast at the Ark, we drive to Lake Elmenteita in the Rift Valley, where we stay at Delamere’s camp. Lunch and overnight at Delamere’s.
Day 6: Leave Delamere’s mid-morning and drive to the Mara, stopping for a picnic lunch on the way. Overnight at Siringet Safaris’ camp in the Mara.
Days 7 & 8 & 9: Game viewing in the Mara.
Day 10: Return to Nairobi.
