Itinerary 6 – Camping and lodging – 13 days Samburu, Camel Safari, the Ark, Lake Elementeita, Masai Mara
Day 1: Leave Nairobi early and drive to Siringet Safaris’ camp in Samburu reserve. Overnight at the camp overlooking the river.
Days 2 & 3: Two full days spent game viewing in Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba reserves, reknowned for their elephants and spectacular views.
Day 4: Drive from Siringet Safaris’ camp to the Camel Trek camp and set off on a camel safari.
Day 5: Camel safari.
Day 6: Camel safari.
Day 7: Back into the landcruiser for the drive to the Aberdare Country Club. Overnight at the Ark in the desnse forest of the Aberdares National park.
Day 8: Leave the Ark in the morning and drive into the Rift Valley, heading for Delamere’s camp, where we overnight. Enjoy a sundowner of the bluff overlooking Lake Elementeita.
Day 9: Drive from Delamere’s Camp to the Masai Mara. There will be a hot shower waiting for you when you arrived. Spend the night at Siringet Safaris’ camp.
Days 10 & 11 & 12: Three full days spent game viewing in the world famous Masai Mara.
Day 13: Return to Nairobi to spend the night at the Mayfair Court Hotel.
Day 14: Enjoy the sights and sounds of Kenya’s busy capital.
