Itinerary 5 Camping and lodging – 14 days Tsavo West, Amboseli, Aberdares, Lake Elementeita, Masai Mara
Day 1: Depart Nairobi early heading for Siringet Safaris’ mobile camp in Tsavo West. Picnic lunch on the way. Afternoon spent game viewing. Overnight at camp.
Day 2: Full day game viewing in Tsavo West. Overnight at camp.
Day 3: Early morning game drive followed by brunch and afternoon drive across Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park. Overnight at Tortillis camp, with a beautiful view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Day 5: Full day spent game viewing in Amboseli National park.
Day 6: Early morning game drive in Amboseli. Lunch at Tortillis camp and then drive up to Nairobi to spend the night at the Mayfair Court Hotel.
Day 7: After breakfast we drive up to the Aberdare Country Club for lunch. Replete, we go on to the Ark in the Aberdares National Park, where we watch animals at the water hole, late into the night.
Day 8: From the Aberdares we drive down into the Rift Valley heading for Delamere’s camp on Lake Elementeita, where we lunch. At the camp you can go on game bush walks and enjoy night-time game drives. Overnight at Delamere’s camp.
Day 9: Full day spent at Delamere’s camp overlooking Lake Elementeita soda lake. With luck the view will be pink with flamingos.
Day 10: Leave Delamere’s camp and drive across the Rift Valley to the Mara. We have a picnic lunch on the way and overnight at Siringet Safaris’ camp in the Masai Mara.
Days 11 & 12 & 13: Three full days spent game viewing in the world famous Masai Mara.
Day 14: One last game drive then drive back to Nairobi. Overnight at the Mayfair Court Hotel.
